This morning, Minerva High School students led a moving assembly to honor the memory of the lives lost on September 11, 2001. The entire student body gathered to pay tribute and express their gratitude to all first responders, law enforcement, and military personnel who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe.
The Minerva Chamber Choir and the MHS Band delivered outstanding patriotic performances that resonated throughout the auditorium. Mrs. Julie Holderbaum shared a heartwarming message, recounting her own experience as a teacher on that fateful day and expressing profound gratitude for the brave men and women who serve our communities and nation.
Mr. Kyle Lucas and the Minerva FFA also played a significant role in the assembly, leading patriotic readings and moments of remembrance. The student-led initiative was a powerful demonstration of respect and a testament to the enduring spirit of unity and patriotism. #MinervaPride

Our MLSD App downloads are taking off! Now it is time to make sure you have access to your child's Rooms. Rooms is a spot within the MLSD App, or through a Thrillshare online platform, where your child's teacher can send out announcements, post pictures, and even send direct messages to guardians. Using Messages as a two-way communication platform allows teachers to alert you via push notification, email, and even text- letting you know a secure message from them is waiting for you. It may be a message to the whole class, team, or club, or a direct message about your child.
Thrillshare/Apptegy will be pushing out a direct invitation to the first and second guardians listed in Final Forms to join their child's Rooms this Thursday, September 4th. We urge you to click join, and jump-in on our new communication platform!
