Freshmen:
Savanna Bartley is the daughter of Dan and Ashley Bartley. Her activities include being a member of the Varsity Girls Golf team. She is also a member of the Lions New Network, International Circle, and Student Council. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, collecting records, playing golf, and traveling. Savanna’s future plans are undecided.
Noah Morckel is the son of Josh and Julie Morckel. He is a member of both the basketball and soccer teams. Noah is a member of the Chess Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Student Council. He is the current Freshmen Vice President.. In his free time, he attends the First Christian Church in North Canton and volunteers with the Youth Basketball Program. Noah also enjoys playing basketball and soccer, hanging out with friends and family, hiking, and fishing. He plans to attend college and major in something sports-related.
Sophomores:
Aubrie Orr is the daughter of Jason and Emily Orr. She is a member of the Game Day Competition Cheerleading team and the Traditional Competition team. She is a member of the Danceline, Pep Club, SADD, and Symphonic Choir. Aubrie was a cast member in the musical Shrek and The Wizard of Oz and part of the play, And Then There Were None. She also volunteers as a Youth Cheer Coach. Aubrie keeps busy cheering at football and basketball games, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her family. Her future plans are to attend RG Drage Career Center in the field of Welding and continue on to The Ohio State University for a degree in Sports Medicine.
Blake Ferrell is the son of Richard and Trisha Ferrell. He is a member of the Dungeons and Dragons Club. Blake volunteers as a peer partner for the Lion Games and the Exceptional Olympics. He enjoys working, fixing semi trucks, welding, and mowing lawns. Blake’s future plans upon graduation are to enter the workforce immediately.
Juniors:
Tayler Sherwood is the daughter of John and Tiffanie Sherwood. She is a member of the Crescent Yearbook staff and the Lion News Network staff. She is an active Competitive All-Star Cheerleader for the TGS Shocks All-Stars. Tayler attends Damascus Friends Church and stays active by volunteering at the Akron Children’s Museum. She enjoys working as a TGS Gymnastics, Dance, and Cheer Coach while also spending her free time on social media, studying the Bible with friends, and tumbling. Her future plans include attending college while pursuing her love of cheerleading.
Lane Tarbet is the son of Nick and Faith Tarbet. He is a member of the Varsity Baseball, Golf, and Basketball teams. Lane is a member of the Future Farmers of America and enjoys fishing, playing basketball and baseball, hanging out with friends, and golfing. He plans to attend college after graduation, but his major is undecided at this time.
Seniors:
Madalynn Bartley is the daughter of Dan and Ashley Bartley. Madalynn is the captain of the Varsity Girls Golf team and Vice President of the Pep Club. She is active in the Aultman Ambassadors Program, the National Honor Society, the International Circle, the Prom Committee, and Students Against Destructive Decisions. She works at the Fireside Lake Campground and enjoys golfing, hunting, and hiking in her free time. She plans to attend the University of Akron to major in Early Childhood Education.
Owen Frazier is the son of Joseph and Kimberli Frazier. During high school, he has been an active member of the Varsity Baseball and Bowling teams, Travel club, Chamber choir, and the Little Lion Big Lion Mentoring program. Owen is currently employed by Minerva Bowl and Grinders Above and Beyond. He volunteers as a coach for our youth bowlers. During his free time, Owen enjoys bowling, playing chess, singing, and writing. He plans to attend college after graduation to pursue a degree in Sales and Marketing while continuing to bowl at the collegiate level.

Lanae Walter is the daughter of Phil and Lynn Walter. She is a member of the Gameday Competition Team, Non-Tumble Competition team, International Circle, National Honor Society, Track team, Prom Committee, Pep Club, and Student Council. She attends Grace Chapel church in Minerva. Lanae is employed by Fireside Lake Campground and the Spread Eagle Tavern. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and cheerleading. After graduation, Lanae plans to attend Aultman School for Nursing.
Lane Hawk is the son of Butch and Christy Hawk. He is a member of the Varsity Football and Varsity Bowling teams. Lane is currently working at Buckeye Mechanical. He enjoys playing football, bowling, working on the farm, and hanging out with his friends during his free time. He plans to continue working at Buckeye Mechanical upon graduation.

🦁 It is a Great Day to Be a Minerva Lion!
At the January Minerva Board of Education Organizational Meeting, newly elected board member Roger Herstine, along with incumbents Donald Spinell and Susan Crawford, all elected in November, took the Board of Education Oath of Office.
Mr. Robert Yeagley was appointed Board of Education President, and Mr. Robert Clark was appointed Vice President.
Congratulations to all, and thank you for your service to our community!
