MINERVA, OH — Get ready to "Bend and Snap!" The Minerva High School Drama Club is bringing big energy, unforgettable music, and an empowering story to the stage as it presents "Legally Blonde The Musical" from March 19 through March 21.
Performances will begin at 7 p.m. each evening in the Minerva High School Auditorium.
Based on the hit Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture and the novel by Amanda Brown, the musical follows the transformation of the fashionable Elle Woods. When her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her to attend Harvard Law in search of someone more "serious," Elle decides to hit the books and follow him there.
While she initially arrives at the prestigious Ivy League school to win back her man, Elle soon discovers that she has the intellect and drive to be a formidable lawyer in her own right. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and a heart of gold, the production celebrates perseverance, confidence, and the importance of staying true to yourself.
